Restoration for Southall Manor House

Ealing Council will be investing £560,000 in Southall Manor House to restore the historic Elizabethan building following Cabinet approval in June. The next two years will see essential repairs including works to the roof and external painting with an archaeologist brought in to survey the building before the works begin. As well as the major works on the house, there are also plans to improve the surrounding grounds by restoring the pool and garden. Southall Manor House dates back to 1587 or earlier and the investment will help to preserve it and its history for generations to come. The building is currently used as serviced offices. Ealing Council is enthusiastic about regenerating every part of the borough and there is already other work underway to improve Southall.
