Wiltern development plans are approved

Ealing Council’s Planning committee approved plans for Amro’s Wiltern development to the rear of the Tesco supermarket and the Old Hoover Building in Perivale at the council’s committee meeting on 20 May.

The application proposes a building of a maximum 16 storeys with 278 apartments, of which 68, located across the building, will be designated as affordable housing. The development has been designed in an Art Deco style to reflect the nearby iconic Hoover building.

The committee also approved a proposal to reconfigure an existing car park in the same vicinity.
