London’s Real Estate Forum to showcase Ealing’s growth

Ealing In London will be showcasing the borough’s opportunities and current regeneration schemes at this year’s London Real Estate Forum (LREF) on the 12 and 13 June.

The Ealing In London stand will this year be featuring City and Dockland’s One West Point development model alongside a year by year review of 10 years of development and regeneration across the borough.

The One West Point development broke ground at the end of 2018 in North Acton. The development will comprise of 578 homes across four buildings, with the highest at 42 storeys, providing one, two and three-bedroom apartments, including 30 per cent designated as affordable.

The ground floor level of the development will feature co-working office space and a coffee, creating a community hub at the centre of the development and up to 170 new jobs. In the 42-storey tower, 275 units are being sold. City & Docklands are retaining 303 units under its PRS brand – AWOL – ‘A Way Of Life’.

With its easy connectivity to central London, Imperial College London and the University of Arts campuses and the Collective at Old Oak, North Acton is increasingly attracting millennials and is reinventing itself as a destination for a younger generation to live, work and study.

Gary Sacks, CEO of City and Docklands, said; “We are excited to deliver such a project. It is set to transform west London and the wider Old Oak Common regeneration area providing much needed London homes. Community and lifestyle has been at the heart of this project and we are proud to create a legacy of homes and communities that will stand the test of time.”

Lucy Taylor, Director of regeneration and planning, said: “North Acton is definitely in the midst of a major transition from an industrial area…to a district with a busy mix of quality residential, student accommodation, educational institutions and work hub space…with great connections into London.”
