Ealing's 2020 Opportunities at Sitematch 365

Developers, housing associations and investors are being invited to a free online briefing session with Ealing Council, at an exclusive event to showcase five key opportunity development sites on 8 July.

This special event, hosted by Sitematch365, on Wednesday, 8 July at 11am, will feature Ealing Council leader, Councillor Julian Bell, Cllr Peter Mason, Cabinet member for housing, planning and transformation, Lucy Taylor, Director of Economic growth and sustainability. The team will be discussing Ealing’s recovery, the challenges ahead and the opportunities on offer. The team will be joined by James Pargeter, Development director, Greystar who will discuss the Greenford Quay development and working in partnership with Ealing Council.

The briefing session will be followed by one-to-one 15-minute speed dating-style meetings available to potential developers and investors with members of the council’s strategic planning team to learn about this vibrant part of west London.

At the heart of west London's economic and cultural region, Ealing is a popular place to live, to work and bring up a family. It is also now a key destination to invest in homes, office space, retail and infrastructure.

The five key development opportunities include sites at Greenford Car Park, Twyford Abbey, Eastern Gateway, Acton Gateway and Sandringham Mews. More information about the sites can be found in the new 2020 edition of the 'Ealing In London' magazine

Ealing Council leader, Councillor Julian Bell, said: “I very much look forward to joining my colleagues for Sitematch365. I will be discussing Ealing's plans for inward investment during COVID-19, as well as how we aim to deliver our regeneration projects.”

Sitematch365 was launched on 29 May this year as a new online format of the annual 3Fox Sitematch event for councils. It was created as a response to lockdown, to enable property developers to continue to connect with the right people at councils to drive development forward.

Toby Fox, 3Fox managing director, said: “We had the existing network to be able to make Sitematch happen in an online format and we're really excited to be working with some of the most forward-thinking councils to help support the recovery programme. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Ealing Council for many years and we’re delighted to be supporting Councillor Bell and his progressive, professional and business-enabling team.”
