Ealing In London's 2020 Magazine Launch

Ealing In London were delighted to launch their 2020 magazine in partnership with Broadway Living last month.

EIL and 3Fox hosted Cllr Julian Bell, Leader of Ealing Council, Cllr Peter Mason, Cabinet member of housing, planning and transformation, Philip Browne, Director of Broadway Living, and Matthew Taylor, Development director of Vistry Partnerships, as they discussed the challenges and priorities for Ealing and the wider construction housing industry.

The panel highlighted Ealing’s housing and regeneration programme through the prism of this year’s magazine, including work on achieving 2,500 genuinely affordable homes by 2022. Philip Browne outlined the Broadway Living programme and future opportunities as it enters an exciting new phase. Broadway Living was set up as one of the first local authority owned development companies in 2014.

Matthew Taylor outlined Vistry's working relationship with Ealing Council and development progress on the plans for the new Perceval House office and residential development.

Speaking at the event, Cllr Julian Bell said: "COVID-19 has hit Ealing just as it has everywhere. But the fundamentals that have made Ealing such a good place to invest have not gone away. Crossrail is in progress and will arrive. Our cinema is coming, there's been a delay because of COVID-19, but we are looking to complete by autumn 2021."
