Double Win for Show Stopper Home

Broadway Living – Ealing Council’s housing developer arm – has been named the winner of not one, but two national awards in recent weeks.

Alton Court, the first phase of homes at Broadway Living’s flagship regeneration scheme Copley Hanwell W7, scooped the top prizes for ‘Best First-Time Buyer Home’ at the prestigious London Evening Standard New Homes Awards on 19 May.This follows the win for ‘Best Showhome’ at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards on 20 April.

Broadway Living is a wholly owned subsidiary of the council and is dedicated to building high-quality, affordable homes across the borough. The stylish show apartment at Copley Hanwell W7, designed by Artspace Interiors, showcases the high-quality specification and contemporary layout of the new homes at the development.

The London Evening Standard New Homes Awards are a landmark event in the housebuilders’ calendar, awarding the very best in design and architecture. In an incredibly competitive category, Alton Court was awarded for providing everything that a first-time buyer might need - affordability, plenty of space, great design, energy efficiency and a convenient location. Overall, Alton Court showcased an outstanding starter home that does not compromise on construction quality and style.

The First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards recognise the lengths that developers, housing associations and their partners go to help aspirational buyers on to the housing ladder. The prize was awarded to the show apartment for giving buyers a realistic depiction of their new home, enabling them to see it at its full potential.
