From newly built luxury apartments with all mod cons in urban environments to charming Victorian and Edwardian terraces in pretty tree-lined streets, Ealing offers a diverse range of good quality housing stock. Streets of multi-million pound period homes are not uncommon. Home ownership is unusually high, with almost 62% of properties owned by their occupiers, and demand for good quality accommodation remains strong.
The council continues to prioritise the provision of high quality new homes in Ealing. Housing and mixed-use development sites sit vacant alongside existing high quality stock. We want to help the right development partners to build new homes and work together to create sustainable communities with a mix of private and affordable housing. Current housing projects on council owned land include the regeneration of Green Man Lane, South Acton, Copley Close and Rectory Park estates. We are already working with Rydon and A2 Dominion on the regeneration of GML and have selected London and Quadrant and Countryside for regenerating South Acton estate. Future regeneration projects include Dean Gardens estate in West Ealing, Golflinks estate in Greenford and Havelock estate in Southall.
